Tarot Card Readings. A type of cartomancy where practitioners use tarot cards, supposedly to obtain insights into the past, present, or future.
A standard tarot deck contains 78 cards, divided into two categories: the Major Arcana and the Minor Arcana.
In addition to their use by professional cartomancers for divining for others, tarot cards are also widely employed as a tool for personal guidance and spiritual growth.
These are the named or numbered cards in a cartomantic tarot pack.
The Major Arcana is the name given to cards which are trump cards used in normal tarot card.
A standard deck of 78 tarot cards usually contain 22 such cards.
Sometimes known as Lesser Arcana, are the suit cards in a cartomantic tarot deck. There are normally 56 cards, within the Minor Arcana, with 14 cards in each suit.
Wands (alternatively called batons, clubs, staffs, or staves).
Cups (alternatively called chalices, goblets, or vessels).
Swords (alternatively called blades).
Pentacles (alternatively called coins, disks, or rings).
In The Minor Arcana, the four court cards are page, knight, queen, and king.
Many tarot card readers, including me, adhere to a strict code of ethics. This means that there will be a list of boundaries around when we will and won’t conduct a reading.
In this regard, I will not conduct a reading for a third party client who has not provided me with permission via telephone or in person. I will also not carry out readings on medical, legal or financial issues, or for minors.
Read on to see what some of my clients have to say about their experiences with my Tarot Card services.
